How many Weddings do you book per year?

Each year I choose a set number of weddings based on other factors to ensure that I can give each couple my full attention, and keep ideal turnaround times for editing. Generally, I do not take more than 2 full-day weddings per month, this may change during peak summer months, but as a mom of 3 my life is chaotic at best, so I only take a number of weddings that benefits my clients!

How long have you been a Photographer?

I have been photographing people steadily since 2016, weddings since 2017!

How far in advance do you book?

For weddings, I typically book 18 - 24 months in advance, and sessions 3-6 months in advance. I always keep a few dates on hand for lifestyle newborns, maternities and some weddings, so please reach out!

Where are you based out of? Do you travel?

I am based out of Red Deer, Alberta (originally out of Calgary) and I do travel! Most of my packages include some basic travel, and if you’re looking to shoot further away we can add that to any package. We are always up for an adventure!

How many images do you include?

This number varies for each session and wedding. My prices include digitals and you will not have to purchase images after the fact. These are your memories and so I will make sure to include as many as possible, while ensuring quality over quantity and not overwhelming you with duplicates. Typically a one hour session is at least 75 images, and a weddings are minimum 65-85 images per hour. I do not provide RAW images under any circumstances.

What is your turnaround time?

My typical turnaround for sessions is under 3 weeks, and for weddings between 6-8 weeks. I will always deliver albums as quickly as possible, these timelines are to account for peak season business and detailed, thoughtful editing.

Will you photoshop us?

I do not believe in photoshopping bodies, I am all about making you feel comfortable and confident but will do this in posing. I do fix blemishes and temporary scars, bruises etc. If there is something that you are concerned about, please let me know and I will make sure to pose you accordingly!

What do we wear for our photos?

I am more than happy to offer assistance with your outfits! I will send a guide depending on your session, offer advice based on your location and style and always suggest bringing more than one outfit to your session!

What if there is bad weather?

Unless the weather is too harsh, or will ruin my gear, I like to embrace to weather! If for some reason we need to reschedule, we will find a new date that works better.

What if you can’t make it to our wedding or we need to reschedule/cancel our wedding?

If by some act of god I am unable to shoot your wedding (death, illness, accident) I will do my best to find you a new photographer of a similar style and experience, although I am not legally held to, and will refund your money. If you need to reschedule or cancel your wedding, the deposit is legally non refundable. I will work with you to reschedule if possible but keep in mind that I often book available dates a year or more in advance.
